Van as part of IMD

Clearly, these guys enjoyed doing their live shows. I have to believe their audiences greatly enjoyed their live shows. So what I don't understand is, why is there little if anything like this today? Why is there little or nothing about them on the web? Where did these guys, and this kind of show, go? Who's going to bring it back?
